If your vehicle sustains light surface scratches, simply applying heat—such as parking in the sun or using warm water—triggers the coating to heal itself. This delivers the extreme gloss of a ceramic coating with the resilience typically found in paint protection film, ensuring your paint correction results are preserved.

Does Mothership Detail Co. offer Paint Protection Film (PPF)?

While we are fully trained and certified in STEK paint protection film (PPF) installation, we are currently focusing exclusively on paint correction and self-healing ceramic coatings at our West Bottoms studio. We anticipate adding PPF to our service menu in Summer 2026. In the meantime, our Revivify self-healing coatings provide a level of resilience and surface protection that bridges the gap between traditional ceramic coatings and film.

Every project begins with a mandatory in-person consultation at our West Bottoms studio. During this visit, we assess your vehicle’s condition and perform 'test spots' on your paint using our professional polishers. This allows you to see the exact level of defect removal and clarity we can achieve before you commit. Based on these results and your specific goals, we build a custom detail package tailored to your vehicle. Once the plan is finalized, we review our calendar to reserve a dedicated spot for your transformation.

Does Mothership Detail Co. offer standalone interior detailing?

Our 'Encounter Detail' is a comprehensive full interior and exterior package performed at our West Bottoms studio. We do not offer interior-only services because our philosophy is built on complete transformations—when a vehicle leaves the Mothership, it must be fully dialed in from the inside out. We are dedicated to providing a premium result for the entire vehicle, and we don't believe in delivering a clean interior while leaving the exterior untouched.

How does the concierge pickup and drop-off service work?

We offer a complimentary concierge pickup and drop-off service for customers within a 10-mile radius of our West Bottoms studio. For clients outside of this radius, custom pricing is available. Your vehicle is fully covered by our specialized insurance throughout the entire process, ensuring your investment is safe and sound from the moment we pick it up until it is returned to your driveway fully dialed in.

How long does a typical paint correction and ceramic coating take?

A proper transformation requires a controlled environment and time for precision. Every coating project at our West Bottoms studio includes a mandatory overnight curing period to ensure the self-healing formula fully bonds before the vehicle leaves the shop. While the total timeframe depends on the size of the vehicle and the depth of the paint correction required, we will always keep the vehicle at least overnight to guarantee a result that meets our 'no compromises' standard.
